A women's ring. Create a delicate, scaled-down version of a classic pear-shaped double-halo diamond ring. Use a 0.40 carat tearshaped center diamond with a distinctly elongated teardrop shape rather than a rounded pear. Surround the center diamond with a very delicate double halo of tiny round micro-pavé diamonds. Keep the halo narrow and refined, with smaller accent diamonds than a typical engagement ring. On each side of the center stone, place two small round colored gemstones in a symmetrical arrangement: a ruby closest to the center diamond, followed by a blue sapphire farther toward the outside of the band. The stone arrangement should be: ruby → sapphire → center diamond → sapphire → ruby. The ruby and sapphire should be noticeably smaller than the center diamond and integrated delicately into the shoulders of the ring rather than appearing like prominent side stones. Use a slim pavé diamond band and a white gold or platinum setting. The entire ring should have a petite, feminine, heirloom-quality appearance and should look like a smaller, more delicate version of an elegant double-halo engagement ring—not a traditional mother's birthstone ring
